Your character
A familiar face.A space that feels like you.
OwnLight’s characters add a little company to your journal. Choose a face you like, give it a name if you want, or keep the app without one. They are part of the atmosphere, not a requirement to write.

A closer look
Visit Your character to change its name and how it appears. You can change your mind later; choosing a character is not a commitment to a routine.
The character on Today can open the AI corner. Seeing a character does not mean AI is reading your journal. You choose a tool and give permission before content is processed.
Made for everyday life
Company without pressure
Characters do not look sad because you missed a day. They are visual companions, not people, therapists or an always-listening chatbot. Character names are not included in AI requests or analytics.
OWNLIGHT
A few things to know
Can I use OwnLight without a character?
Yes. Skip it during setup or change the character settings later. Your entries, moods and other journal tools do not depend on having a character.
Is the character itself the AI?
No. The character is the visual companion you choose. The AI corner is a separate set of optional tools with its own consent and credit costs.
